Book jacket for the Princess Diaries series by Meg Cabot

Being one of my personal favorite book series’, the inspiration behind this was to convey the series to the best of my ability. I chose to highlight the main character, Mia’s, journey from finding out she is a princess to becoming a more well-rounded and professional princess. Throughout the series, Mia is accompanied by her pet cat, Fat Louie, which is who I wanted to showcase as the main image of the design. I chose the colors green, white, and blue because, when putting the spines of the books together in order, it creates the flag of the fictional country that Mia is the princess of, Genovia, and the orange because her cat is an orange cat.
